Detroit Auto Show 2012
Just returned from Saturday's opening day to the public. very busy, huge crowd.
No show from Jaguar.
Either did Aston Martin, Ferrari or Lamborghini for that matter.
top German cars had a good display. MB/BMW/Audi/Porsche
Lots of Asian cars.
Of couse the Big 3 was dominant. After all we are talking Detroit here.

I was there Saturday too! I was also disappointed from the no show from Jaguar. I also wanted Land Rover to be there to check out the new Evoque. Aston, Ferrari, and Lamborghini have not been present at NAIAS for years.
All in all I thought it was a good show. I really enjoyed the Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Lexus areas. Lots of new cars from them that I thoroughly look forward to.

I know this is a little late but they have been doing a separate show for the higher end brands that werent at cobo at the MGM casino on the same weekend. Our dealer took a couple jags and rovers and a couple astons including a one-77. it was only for one day. And had a dinner prepared by wolf gang puck. The event may have had a little higher entrance price.
