So, no electric XJ soon despite the Brenda Priddy spy test shots last year?

 

Well a new CEO took over and seems to be starting to making some sensible decisions, possibly chosen by Tata with just that in mind.

 

Sensible? All EV is sensible for a brand that just bought the Ford engine tooling and whose only exciting product sells mainly based on the visceral sound of its V8? Not to mention that this reinforces the view in the USA that Jag is a quirky niche brand that can't compete with the majors. This is what happens when strategy is based on woke marketing, rather than reason and engineering, Jag will be lucky to survive until 2025. In the mean time, who would buy a gas-powered vehicle from a company abandoning the technology.

 

I'll bet electric cars are a real hit in Texas and areas right about now..
Course ev's suffer the same fate in Calif. during the summer.
