Default 3.8 mk10

hi there folks new t the group,i have a mk10 3.8 SA import coming up for sale but I don't know what to value it at,

its very solid and original its has no rust or needing any welding nor has had it any welding,its been in storage for about 9 months,the elderly man that had it sadly went blind.the millage is around 55k.it needs some tlc etc but a very good and easy project.just wondering if some of use could help me on a valuation
.it will be registered in the uk and all duties etc are paid

Only way you'll really find out is to put it up for auction, but if you're in the JEC, the register may be able to indicate a range of values. Have you looked in the classic sales internet sites ? I see there are two in there at quite high prices, but there is one here that is a bit less !

yea looked at a few sites this is a good easy project but its solid no rot or rust,i will prob put it on ebay and see

Even when new these cars were not hugely popular, and now even less so, not least due to the huge size of the car especially its width. Most garages will not take a car like this unless it's a double, and even then you need the length too. The editor of the JEC magazine has just bought one and likes it a lot.
