Description:
I am on the verge of buying a 1994 X12 engine. I want to double check that there is not a better engine available before buying this one that is coming out of a running car. I am looking for a good running 6.0 liter Jag V12. Does anyone have one that I ought to consider? I want the version with a distributer as I understand that it will be easier to install in my 1975 XJ12C.

I have been advertising this XJS Lister tribute project for a while.

The wheels and body kit have sold, actually picking up today, so the rest is for sale.
I'm in Niagara on the Lake Ontario, about a 7 hour drive from you.
I could remove the parts you may want. Are you planning a 5 speed as well?
Thanks,
Rob

I am just south of Pittsburgh and have a 76,000 mile 6.0 V12 still in a 94 XJ12. I am parting the car. Car ran fine before fuel pumps went bad. Previous owner pulled fuel tank and then decided against repairs due cost. I also have a very good 5.3 liter out of car I did a power train swap on. Let me know if you have interest. @ sjniznik@msn.com

Thank you for remembering that I was advertising for a used 6.0 V12. I did find one in a salvage yard 5 hours away from me in WV. It was stored there for 20 years, has 81k miles on it and most of its' ancillary parts missing. But I have all of them on my running 75 XJ12C. It seems to have been stored correctly. I bought it for $1,000 plus tax, plus 10 hours of driving and gas and my missed day at the office. But I got to hang with my son for the day so it was a win there! Hopefully it will start and run okay. Otherwise I will be posting again. Good luck with selling it. I am pretty sure someone will want it.
