Description:

Putting out an early ad/feeler to sell my 2018 F-type R-Dynamic 6MT with only 12,500 miles on it.  Will be ready to sell in May 2022.  I'm only selling because I have an order in for a new car that will be arriving in mid-May.

***This is a VERY RARE Manual Transmission F-type R-Dynamic 6MT Coupe***
***Certified Pre-Owned Jaguar warranty valid until 5/30/2023***
***Only 12,500 miles***
$62,500 USD
Mint condition, no accidents, comes with winter rims/tires.  This is the 380HP R-Dynamic, which also includes these additional options:
  • panoramic glass roof
  • climate package 1 -- heated seats, front and rear windshields, heated steering wheel and dual climate control
  • flat bottom steering wheel
  • illuminated Jaguar tread plate on door sill -- it says "Jaguar" in blue lighting
  • homelink (for a garage door opener)
  • park assist (automatically parallel parks if you want it to)
  • black exterior package (meaning all chrome was blacked out at factory)
  • Tinted windows
  • the summer wheels are all black after market 20" with TPMS
  • winter wheels are a set of 19" winter OEM JLR powder coated black rims and winter tires and JLR TPMS installed
  • sto n show front license plate is removable -- no holes drilled in front for plate mount
  • I also have the Velocity AP ECU tune installed (only the tune) bringing the HP to 416.  You can keep it as is, untune it back to stock 380hp, or add more pops/crackles with the extra tune on the handheld device
Note this is a Canadian car (located in Toronto) -- pricing and mileage noted in US.

Beautiful car, just a quick question: How does Park Assist work with a MT?

Thanks! It's a bit of a weird experience to use park assist entirely (I clearly have trust issues ) but it's a relatively simple process since the car effectively tells you exactly what to do. It tells you when to put the car in reverse, it then takes control over the steering and instructs you to slowly reverse, at the right time it tells you to stop and then change into first gear, and then it corrects the wheel and instructs you to slowly move forward. I've never used the park assist in an automatic but I suspect the process is relatively similar ???

Also, did you get the squeaking brake issue resolved?

Not sure why my first comment didn't post but:

Have you sold to a US buyer before? And did you opt to not get the upgraded seats with cooling, or was it just a matter of availability?

(P.s. I'm the one who reached out to you on CarGurus)

This was an issue I had on a previous F-type. The car I'm selling in this ad is my 4th F-type -- the squeaky brakes occurred on the V8 that I had and the first V6 2016 Ftype (base model) that I owed years ago. But I haven't had that issue on this F-type.

I have purchased a US vehicle and brought it to Canada but not the other way around. I do know others that have moved to the US from Canada and imported their cars -- the process is easier going *to* the US versus coming back to Canada. I have the EPA certificate of compliance with environmental rules and I also have the DOT safety equivalency letter. There is some duty that you have to pay -- but there's a personal exemption of $800 that offsets the total duty. So, the cost to import should be less than $1000.

I purchased this 2018 F-type used -- so I didn't have the choice of the premium seats. Given how rare the manual transmission is, I had to take what was available with the most color/specs I could find. I too would have preferred the premium seats with the cooled seats -- but I will say that the post 2018 base seats are way better (in my view) than the original base seats in the pre-2018 models. They are still slick/thin and look good.
