Hi,

I bought this car newly imported from Japan (it is RHD) as a sound basis for a mechanical restoration. The car is a '93 meaning that it is also galvanised. It is the 2.1 facelift which has the facelifted body but retains the nicer original bumpers. There is no rust on this car and it's in amazing condition. Having finally found a worthy car, I set about restoring all the wearable components. There are plenty of good looking and low mileage cars about, but these cars are old and however low the mileage the things I've done will need doing (if you want original performance and reliability). A low mileage car does not compare to a mechanically restored car low mileage car which is as close to new reliability as you can get. I've had this car operational for a year now and I'm starting my next project (a Daimler Double Six) so I'm looking for a home for this one. It has had a lot of love and the price reflects exactly what I've spent but does not include any labour, the cost if it did would be massively higher. I've restored it with the intention of keeping it (but couldn't resist the next project). I've been restoring cars for many years and I don't skimp on parts that need replacement. The car is stored in my garage when not in use.

There are a small number of minor bodywork blemishes which I have chosen not to fix as the paintwork is original and they are really nothing unusual (and not noticeable at all per pics. I'm just stating for accuracy). Please see the final image to get an idea. The blemishes in summary: 1) There is a very small ding to n/s rear wheel arch, which need to be tapped out (size of a new 5p at most). There is no rust! 2) There are three scrapes about 2.5cm long in the front bottom corner of the n/s door. Down to primer only and touched up. Door has been opened on something at some point 3) There is a visible semi-circle scratch on the boot lid that has been touched up at some point and polished in. I should reiterate, none of these are perforations and there is no rust and you could leave them (they are not at all noticeable and don't detract from the stunning condition this car is in) or if they bother you address with a smart repair. The paintwork and trim is in otherwise amazing condition.

The interior is in amazing condition per pics. I've also replaced the centre console with a custom ordered walnut centre deleting the ashtrays (I really didn't like the look of them). It's low mileage at just over 70,000 miles. It has a new MOT (no advisories) to 10.09.2023. All warning lights are operational and there are no lights lit (as a result of the work below).

It is awesome for weekends away. I've taken it to Cheshire, Wales, Bristol and the Cotswolds while I've had it. Amazing down country roads with the roof down.

• Toad Ai606 Thatcham Cat 1 alarm (all wiring using factory preparation, no hacking of wiring loom!); includes microwave sensor (so roof can be left down) and tilt sensor

• Optimate trickle charge lead
• New battery
• Custom manufactured engine wiring loom (using high quality silicon wires to ensure they last) <- This covers all engine ignition wiring, injectors and aircon

Engine:

• New engine mounts
• New crankcase breathers, connector and vacuum hoses

• New evaporative loss cap (this is where a lot of the fumes typically come from on the top of the tank)

• New fog light lenses (they have the original Jaguar covers that came with the car!)
