We have dismantled a running 1988 V12 Coupe that was about to be crushed for scrap. He have hundreds of good parts. We are Jaguar owners and enthusiasts, not retail parts guys. The wood trim was not in good shape, and if I could give you any advice about XJS cars, is that wiring in engine area is brittle and should not be reused. Paul's Jaguar in Florida has new wiring available.

Stupid, I know…… but some type of gasket is missing from my rear license plate lights. I have two little clear lenses, but they are just flopping around back there. I have recently purchased. Thx.

Temporarily, I ended up cutting a pattern from the web pic and cutting out of a thin piece of Lexan. Drilled holes in lexan for screws to attach to the bracket and siliconed the clear lenses to the Lexan. A tip from "The Book" was that those clear lenes (just the lens, not the gasket) are available from Triumph/MG shops for like $3 US. It's crazy that the Jag OE items are $55 a piece.
