Description:

Anyone interested in a spring compressor for the xj40/x300/x308? I needed one myself and made a few extra - 69eur/75usd a piece + postage. Removing the spring takes just a couple minutes with this tool.

Default Is it for alignment too?

Gabrial,
Is this a JD-133 tool to set mid-laden condition when doing a XJ40 front end alignment along with removing the springs?
I am also looking for a JD-145 for the rear alignment of my XJ40.
My 1983 XJ6 series 3 needs JD-25B or dimensions/drawing to make one for the rear.
Thanks,
Dean (ProQuest)

Default

This tool is just to remove and reinstall the springs, I don't see why one would need one to set the alignment

Default Mid-Laden Position

I think it could work as seen in the attachment as a JD-133 to put the car in the Mid-Laden position for alignment, but you would need two of them.
