For sale is my December 2007 registered Jaguar XK 4.2 Coupe in Ebony Black. I have owned the car since May 2022 and it has been my daily commuting car ever since. Reluctantly I am now selling due to a job relocation and company car on the way. I am listing on Jaguar Forums as I would like the car to go to an enthusiast who will appreciate and continue to look after the car as have I during my ownership.

It took over two years of searching to find an XK of this specification and benefits from only two previous owners. The first was Jaguar Cars Ltd, where it spent a year as a company car for the Purchasing Director at Jaguar. The second owner then purchased the car in late 2008, owning the vehicle until May 2022.

As mentioned above, this XK features several specifications which set it apart from the majority of 4.2 XKs for sale, hence why I spent a long time waiting for the right specifications, which are:

•    Full charcoal soft grain genuine leather interior with 16-way adjustable seats (the 10 way seat adjustment cars only feature synthetic leather) 

•    Cream suede headlining, again set apart from most specifications.

•    Facelift interior, featuring aluminium trim and piano black centre trim with updated machined aluminium centre console buttons as opposed to the prefacelift plastic buttons.

•    Bowers and Wilkins premium sound system with Dolby Pro Logic.

•    Adaptive Cruise Control (automatic slowing of vehicle to speed of vehicle in front with adjustable gap settings), quite a rare option on the XK.

•    CATS adaptive suspension.

•    Heated front and rear windscreen + wing mirrors, along with automatic rain sensing windscreen wipers.

•    Chromatic rear view mirror & wing mirrors (react to the light from vehicles behind and dim the mirrors automatically)

•    20” Senta Alloy wheels.

•    Keyless entry and locking.

The XK comes with its two original keys, all its original booklets and the service portfolio. During my ownership I have had the passenger side engine mount replaced in July 2022 by Tom Lenthall Jaguar specialists in Wokingham, followed by a full gearbox service in January 2023 also by Tom Lenthall. I replaced the Engine oil and filter in November 2022 at 100,000 miles with Castrol Magnatec 5W30. Brand new set of rear tyres fitted in May 2023 and Hunter wheel alignment carried out.

This is a great opportunity to own a uniquely specified, well looked after example of one of the last 4.2 litre XKs while they are still very reasonably priced.
