You’re looking at a rear differential for a Jaguar XJS. The gear ratio is 2.88:1, it’s a posi (locking) unit. It came from a 1987 Jaguar XJS with 49K miles a number of years ago. It was meant as an upgrade for an E type, oil seals were changed at the time, but it was never installed and sat in a box for a while. The differential turns freely by hand, would be a worthwhile upgrade for 1968 - 1987 XJ6, XKE or a replacement for an XJS. Please make sure that it fits your car prior to bidding. Local pickup preferred due to the weight of this item, but will ship at buyer’s expense.
