Description:

I am selling my '91 XJ-S Classic Collection.  It runs and drives nice, except for one recent issue.  It's as rust free as they come, and the paint is solid.  I am moving soon, and I don't have the space or time for this car anymore.  Here's a list of work I've done to it:

New fuel lines, brakes, radiator, radiator hoses, fuel injectors, spark plugs, windshield seals, tires

Recently the brakes have been acting up; so, I'm letting it go for less.  I don't have the time or energy to tackle the situation right now.  $6k OBO, PM me.  Car is located in Long Island NY.

Friends, I bought this car in 2009 and sold it to this seller in 2002. It is a very solid car, and the seller addressed several outstanding issues. The paint and interior were original when I sold it. I’m sorry he has to sell it and the recent brake issue is unfortunate, but it’s still a great opportunity for someone.

Offhand it looks like a lot of car for the money. I’ve been mulling a bit 😁

“As rust free as they come” is bit vague, though. Does that mean no rust? Or less rust than usual?

Cheers

It had absolutely no perforation when I sold it two years ago, and looked great underneath.

It's essentially rustless, not just good rustwise in comparison to the norm. The car is as solid as a rock and still nicely undercoated. As far as I am aware, it was a Florida and Colorado car its whole life before coming up here, and I avoid rain and snow like the Plague when it comes to my old cars. I tend to undercoat/reundercoat my classics when I get them, but this one didn't need it. I'm happy to answer questions either here or in PM.

British cars like ours are usually a lot of car for the money, IMO some of the only bargins left in the hobby.
