Hi, I was given your info by jahummer. I was asking about headliner material for a 2008 XKR portfolio. Celestial black, charcoal interior and the headliner color he tells me is canvas or passion suede. He said you were the go to person.

I am interested in material so I can replace the headliner and probably extra to do the pillars and sun visors. I s this something you can help me with? I am located in Montreal Canada.

    Cheers

All your info on the headliner and materials has been a great help....thank you! I recently removed the liner and stipped it as descibed in the treads. I carefully stripped the suede as well, both pieces have some residual glus smearing but clean of old foam. I considering using the old suede as it is in great condition. 2013 KX with 27K on the clock.

I plan to use 2mm-4mm foam with 3M headliner adhesive. iI' m trying to keep it as close to stock as possible.

With that, Plan B....the liner is Alston Canvass, Passion sued has several close colors. Oysters looks closest on line. Sound like you have a good eye.... so what color/ and or brand would you suggest? BTW always liked the Pantera, saw my first De Tomoso in mid 70" good luck with it

Look forward to hear from you!

Thanks Ralph. I'm sure it will get worked out this week. Galpin has been no help as they don't even know about the parts to the shifter. But I'll get it figured out. I'm getting my X100 back next week as well as the Pantera by Father's Day, so I'll still have something interesting to drive. As soon as I get the Pantera back, let's get together. I think you'd get a kick out of driving it.

Good morning, Ted.. Do you know any good Jaguar Techs in Los Angeles area? Service manager of Hornberg Jaguar told me that they (Jag dealer for LA) do not wish to work on "older" Jags.. 2006 and older.
    I have a 2001 S type that needs ECM to be re-set or re-programed..
car has a communication problem and ECM(engine control module) does not recognize TCU (throttle control)... please send me a private message.
    Thnaks.. LAjag
