Thanks for taking the time to message me. Should you feel the need to thank some one for a post or just enjoyed it reading it we use the little 'blue thanks' button in the bottom right corner of every post.
By doing that it sends a message to the forum member you 'thanked' for what ever the reason,we use it like the facebook 'like' button.
I'm sure you will enjoy this forum, very useful as well as having some fun. IE 5 word story, around the world and word association to name a few.
"Define "a little older."
No,not going there. Just the Jag owner syndrome in me I think. I'm 64 but never really matured. The first thing I did was see if the speed limiter worked on the current Jag.I confess I whimped out at 240KPH.So close too.
That's quite a list on Nix. But it is winter is that makes any difference. Some seem to pack the Jag away during your winters/carry out the work required.
Did I see in a post that it is not powered by Jaguar?
You're not the first one to write me about that actually. I tend to think of forum members as peers until they start complaining about being in pain, having joints replaced, parking in handicap spaces, retiring soon, or having been retired for several years.
Maybe husband is rubbing off on me; he is some years older than I am.
Nix is laid up for several months yet. I'm replacing the driver (left) floor pan, upgrading console lighting and making repairs, installing longer lug bolts, replacing shocks and bushings, having the radiator rodded, changing transmission oil and adding a cooler, and a few other things as I have time for.
I recently found 2 puddles of brake fluid under the IRS and the reservoir is empty. Before I can drive it anywhere, even if everything else is done successfully, I MUST deal with no rear brakes. THAT promises to be an experience.
