Nice to have someone in the area to inspect it for you! Also it's great that you can do all your mechanical work - that's way out of my paygrade - lol. The XKR I bought in Dallas had 33k miles on it and had just gone out CPO this past December. I'm contemplating purchasing an aftermarket extended warranty from a company recommended by our USAA insurance. I've already had a large repair bill with the jag within a week of driving it back from Dallas. And now it looks like I may be looking at a repair on the front end of the supercharger, as it's making that intermittent knocking noise. Perhaps I need to look into a recommended indie jag mechanic for future work? But like you, even if it didn't run, I could spend hours just sitting in the garage and admiring it...
