    Hi Dave,

Hopefully you'll see this message. I'm about to pull the supercharger and oil cooler so I can take a look to the anti drain valve on my engine. Do you recall how the valve works (Flap) so I have some idea what to expect? I've searched everywhere but I can't find a picture showing the inside of the valve.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave,
I've been following your engine rebuild thread, thanks for taking the time to document your progress!
I'm preparing to do timing chains/tensioners/guides in my 2010 XF SC (mine makes the seemingly common "warm restart knock"). Do you have any suggestions on where to get the parts? It would be nice if someone sold a "kit", since I'm not sure what all supporting parts I will need, but I haven't been able to find anything.

Hi Dave, I see your engine rebuild is still in the works. So is my head gasket replacement. I am about to remove the fuel rail and injectors. I removed the rail bolts but it is stuck to the injectors. There are 4 clamps that go around the fuel injectors but It seems they do not attache to the rail itself. Do you recall how you freed the rail ? Should I just give it a tug ? Good luck with your engine. Regards
