I just received my Mina Lower Intake for my 2017 F type V6 S. With the lack of instructions For install I received the lower tubes and one is slightly longer than the other and I wasn't sure if the longer tube went to the left hand side driver side or the right. Could you please help me as I have the vehicle Jack death only on 1 side because I do have limited workspace tonight And thanks in advanced bro I do appreciate you

Hi Unhingd! Thought I'd ask you for thoughts instead of the whole forum. As you'll recall, I'm on my 2nd differential, 2016 6S.

Now the car is making a noise I would describe as a hoot like an owl only longer, coming from the year at just certain RPM's.

Say I'm in high gear cruising easy in traffic at 1500 RPM's. When I apply slight throttle the whoooooooo begins and ends at about 1700 revs.

I occurs in other gears too at various RPM's but is loudest when in high gear.

Might you have some thoughts on this noise? If you recall, I had a squirrel issue under the hood. I know you have a great sense of humor so I'll jump in now and say I have checked the year for owls and have found no sign.

Thanks for your time and expertize good sir.

Hi Unhinged! Any thoughts on that issue with the noises since the DIF was replaced. The thread is titled I'm Concerned (but misspelled!)

    Thanks!

Ever use "one time use" exhaust clamps? They are located at the back end of the downpipe.
My SVR has what the dealer wants to replace with over $125 for 2 clamps.
I pulled them off and the inside of the clamp has a moldable silver lining that is not damaged and looks like it should be able to be reused.

    Thoughts/experiences?

    Thanks,
    Mike Lebofsky

Have you heard of anyone making a composite lower pulley?

My SVR trunk has a large metal battery tray.
The hold down is accomplished with a sliding bottom clamp that has 2 screws and an upper bar bracket that attaches at the fender well and then with a few bends makes its way to the battery tray near the bottom sliding clamp.

The RS-30 battery has cut out on its sides for the standard J bars or perhaps a strap. I would think there would be many light weight battery tray/hold down mechanisms available.

    Thoughts?

I'm still very interested in the right Lithium battery if we can get a group buy going ....
I assume your car and my 2017 SVR use the same battery?

    Hello,
We were chatting about my SVR (305, 290) ...
You mentioned 8mm spacers should leave enough lugnut to be safe
What is your opinion on 12mm spacers with extended thread lugnuts?
