    Hi, I've seen your Shooting Brake around Atlanta, but it was via a facebook post I learned you built the car yourself and documented the process.

    This is incredible to say the least. I've had several XJS's over the years, and about two years ago thought about seriously doing this, but had several BMW projects to complete.

    For me, I would go with either a newer chassis car and stay updated on the lights / bumpers, and potentially match up a 6.0 litre, or go with the old 70's cars which could be interesting too.

    I even thought a 5 speed conversion might be a 'while you're doing it' option.

    I simply do not have the fabrication skills you've employed or the eye. I am good at grunt work, wiring, engines, etc, but the eye it takes to fab the windows / doors, I do not. Would love to chat with you about and see the car upclose. Cheers, Neal 404.556.1705 - neal.caudle@gmail.com
