If the quad tips make any difference in the sound, I doubt that I can tell the difference. I'm not sure but, except for the XJR (quad exhaust), I think all 5.0L models (NA and SC) use the same exhaust system with the same exhaust finisher (tip).

I am fairly certain that the quad tips will fit your 2012 if the factory exhaust system has never been modified. Simply unbolt the factory tips and bolt on the quad tips.
