    Cracker , i made the cross bar use 1" round tubing, welded small plates on the ends, that bolt to the top factory brace on edge of body!

    simple but effective , it did tighten up steering response feel , surprising how much flex there is on V12 cars in engine compartment area!

    i use tubing that is electrical conduit type,(cheap), and guy across street has a tube bender , just eyeballed it and wallah cut ends to fit length!
