Well an alternate service tech also said the Nikasil engine on my 1997 Jaguar is pooched. He tried the oil in the chamber, and also applied the flow through compression test and got zero compression. So comment is it is cheaper to find a used Jaguar and dispose of the beautiful looking body and interior. Estimate to replace engine is quite high. $10,000 can. More than I paid for the Jag so wonder if anyone else has been through this. Thanks for help so far forum members! Hamoody
