I am putting the security wires on the bolts for the differential in a 74 XKE that I am rebuilding, can anyone give me a tutorial or tell me how to rewire those bolts?

    Hi Warren,
Baxtor here, I live down near Portland and am planning a couple of runs possibly into your neck of the woods in my XJRs over the christmas new year break and had thought putting a face to forum names might be possible.
No big deal but let me know what you think.
    Cheers

    Warjon:

Saw your post on the thread superchargedtr6 has going.

You mentioned you have a 6.7 build going on. Can you tell me more about that build, like, where did you get the pistons, sleeves, head gasket, and what are you doing with the piston crowns?

I was going to buy a set of the chevy 305 pistons and sleeves that Norman Lutz once offered, but does no longer, and these get to 6.7L using a 94.9 mm piston.

I have a 6L engine (1994, forged crank) and a 1979 preHE (low miles) engine awaiting a build based on the 6L crank and block. Figure to use the preHE heads and maybe cams, but maybe will use the 6L cams on the flat heads. Have not decided.

Since Lutz told me he no longer offers the kits, I have been looking down the path of boring to 92 or 93 and fitting new pistons. But I would rather take the displacement up further if reasonably possible.

    Thanks!

    Mike

    hi,
saw your discussion on the tach. I have converted my 72 XKE12 to an Electromotive trigger wheel system. My tach now does not work. Any simple suggestion to this problem?
    Thanks,
    Max

Can't find blog with bumper conversion. I'm obsessed with doing this so any help is great. The brackets in particular.

I saw in a post from December that you had installed 4.09's in your rear diff with a custom spacer. Who made it for you and can I get one. I bought the gears and realized afterwards that I didn't get the "thick" gears.

Warrjon, if you've been keeping up on the twin turbo xjs V12 thread here:

    https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...project-62150/

One of the fellas said you had originally posted the pics of a black xjs v12 twin turbo, inter cooled, in-engine compartment setup. Was wondering if you had any more info on that vehicle you'd be willing to share. Power #s, details of the setup, more pics, etc.

I believe the photo he posted is on page 4.

    Cheers!
