Ngarara (Ross)
Our good friend Ngarara passed away at his home with his family by his side within the last week. He owned a XKR 75 and was always willing to help any fellow Jag owner with information and advise.
We had always talked about meeting up somewhere some way to shake hands and talk about Jag’s but life just got away and we never did meet.
Nevertheless I feel I/we have lost a great friend and I’m so very sad for our loss. I hope his lovely wife Madeleine finds peace and exercises his kitty for him - for he truly love his xkr 75 and all of us on here.

This is terrible news! This is a huge loss for Jaguar and this forum. He was so proud of his XKR 75 and always available to help the membership and talk Jaguar. He even published an article about the XKR 75. I'm going to miss him. I feel like a piece of my XKR fell off. I never met Ross, but we exchanged emails over the years. RIP my good friend. Thanks for bringing this to the forum's attention, Lothar.

Such sad news. Ross was a fellow Kiwi although he was from the North Island. We tried to meet up when he was back here in 2014 but as he was doing a lot of travelling and meeting up with family it didn't work out.
If you haven't read it, this is the article about the XKR 75 he wrote that DGL referred to earlier:
The Jaguar XKR 75 | Xclusively Jaguar

Thanks for your reply to my PM about Ross.
As you know, I was going to setup a new thread here in Memorial section but then thought it best to simply copy your original from X150 forum with all the replies from other members who shared his passion for Jaguar and appreciated his knowledgeable and helpful contributions to the forum.
R.I.P Ross.
