XK8 Daylight Running Lights

Not sure about at 'importing', but you'll need it soon.
I've read a few threads around the forums (do a search on the daytime running lights or lamps) describing that the DLRs can be activated by using the dealer's WDS machine/software and programming that function. There are lots of variations as to the cost associated with that particular service however.
I'd try with a dealer in Arizona, maybe get lucky before it even is imported. Good luck.

It's true - on my 04 S-Type dealer did this for free - he was doing recall software path and did it at the same time..I think he first quoted me around $100 or so for this... As for importing - you will need paper from manufacturer/dealer proving that all recall has been done for the car...
Hope this helps.

I just brought a 08 XKR into BC from S/C US, you dont have to have DRLs working to bring it in but you do have to have the letter of recall, you will have to have your DRLs working when you have your RIV inspection ,I asked the dealer in S/C to do mine for me but it got missed , so I had it done in victoria cost $250 I had a good dealer he paid the bill and my exp for gas and motel . Mike is a non member these days and there is a flaw with the forum. When a member as yourself comes across an older thread like this, the forum for some reason places your garage in the former members garage. No need to worry about it!
Mike is now showing a 2005 Cadillac Escalade in his garage since I am posting to this thread.
