Attached in a picture of side of 3.8 where the oil filter housing goes.
Oil flows out of the red hole, then back into the green hole, never making it to the yellow hole after the filter which is where -- I assume -- the oil pressure should build.
Can you tell me what the green arrow hole is and where it goes?
I'm not sure if you have the direction of flow right, but there is a passage from the oil pump, then a passage into the main oil gallery, plus a blow-off to an external pipe to drain oil passing the oil pressure relief valve. The brass-headed screw is to cover a cross passage from the oil gallery to one of the main bearings.
It looks to me as if the yellow arrow points to the entry into the main oil gallery.
