Default 1964 Mk2 3.8 Photos

Thought I'd post a couple of photos of the father-in-law's 1964 Mk2.
Hopefully he'll let me drive it one day, that goes for the one in the garage as well!

Is that an original paint color? What is the paint color? It is gorgeous.

Lin,

No, not original colour. It was originally gold - or whatever the proper Jaguar colour code was for gold. The current marine blue was done before he took ownership, over 12 years ago.

One curious thing - the photo I took under the bonnet shows a plate with German lettering. Any ideas on how this can be? It is RHD and I thought they were all built in Coventry.

Originally sold in Germany? But they wouldn't need RHD
