Default 1967 Jaguar S-type - How do you remove the original air cleaners?

I cannot figure out hoe to get to the bolts out that attach the original air cleaners on the carburetors. I want to replace with individual K & N filters.

CANCEL REQUEST. - After taking out the two outside bolts, the large piece connecting the two carburetors just fell away. The inside two bolts only supported the thing and did not go all the way through. Whopp eyee

Gary,
Scroll down in this post on my website about K&N Air Filter mounting. My car is a MK2, but I believe will be the same?
