Default Dipstick tube removal

I nearly have my engine stripped to the bare block and ready to be boiled out and machined as necessary. The dipstick tube is still in place and it is not obvious how (or if) it comes out. I have been hitting it with penetrating oil now and then. It does not seem to want to screw out. I would rather not mangle it since its probably not obtainable. Any suggestions?
Its a late '66 3.8 liter.
Thanks!

It's just a press fit in the block. Maybe apply a little heat to the block & try & pull it out.

Had a problem with mine a year ago when the dipstick snapped leaving the bottom end jammed in the tube. The tube is a press fit.
I removed it simply by heating the block with a hot gun then I pulled the tube out with mole grips. In my case the dipstick provided something solid in the tube for me to grab hold of but I am sure with a little persuasion with heat and a gentle pull the it will come out.
Fitting it back in I put the tube in the freezer overnight and then heated the block up with the hot gun and the tube slid into place with the tap of a piece of wood and a small hammer.

As always, thanks for the input. It's Saturday and I hope to get some car time today. I will give it a try.

A bag of ice around the tube, some heat to the block and some gentle tapping on the vice grips and it came right out. Thanks as always for the advise!
