Horn electrics

Horn electrics
On Ebay I bought an original steering wheel for my Mk2 to replace a small aftermarket wheel.
It came complete with chrome horn ring, cover and center piece.
The horn ring has a metal circular part in the back with three insulating nuts and springs. The receiving part goes on to the steering wheel with three tiny screws.
There are no details to be found in any of the books I have.
It is not clear to me if the whole assembly is complete or if a part is missing. And where do I fasten the eyelet of the horn thread ?
Can anyone help me ?

The workshop manual says "Refitting Hold the split cones in place in the grooves of the inner column shaft, making sure that the narrowest part of the cone is towards the top of the column. With the other hand slide the steering wheel on to the column shaft splines so that the two spokes are horizontal when the road wheels are pointing straight ahead. Push the steering wheel fully home on to the split cone. Fit the plain washer, the securing nut and the locknut. Refit the horn ring and cover." Should be straight forward.

I am trying to connect the horn wire to the horn ring.
If you take the horn ring in your picture away you will find an assembly concisting of two circular parts held together by three 1/8th studs, spring loaded with plastic - insulating - nuts. The springs loading allows for the horn ring movement.
Normally the horn thread is insulated from mass. Pushing the horn ring should connect the assembly to mass.
But I do not know where to put the eyelet from the horn thread.
Maybe one part is missing in my case.
Thanks for your reaction anyway.
The steering wheel is in place on the spline, That was the easiest part.
