Jaguar mark 2 beading clips

Not the best picture but if it chromed I think I am right in saying that you should have two and on the S type they fit on the "B" pillar to bridge the gap between the front door handle and rear door chromes strip. You should also have a small plastic rivet/grommet that you put in the hole then the leg of this chrome piece fits into the plastic rivet/grommet.

Front of front doors & front of bonnet short strip ~ to stop chrome blowing off at speed.
Each use 1 of these held on by nut & anti-shake washer.
Then leaper & then rest of bonnet these horrible things riveted on (you can try the pop rivet clip. I thought they were too small but check) . Some kits have a staple similar to side of bonnet. Aftermarket sell those fancy chrome jobs with a nut.
Two holes behind back doors take these friction bushes to push on chrome spears. Spear studs are now threaded but go into a blind panel so you can't attach nuts. Real dumb!

BTW ~ I keep forgetting you have a Mk2 & not an S Type. Ignore friction bushes & spears comment above. Only applies to S Type/420. The Mk2 rear chrome follows the fender line. Does not stop in a spear.
In research this is another type of centre bonnet/hood clip that Jaguar also used on the centre trim of some Mk2's
