MK2 Bonnet Lock
Well I have taken over a thousand photos of the disassembly of my 64 MK2, but somehow I missed taking photos of the bonnet lock mechanism.
In the photo found at the link below and in the attached thumbnail:

I know that the top piece is the striker plate. Which piece is the catch plate and which piece is the base plate? When assembled what is the relationship of one piece to the other? Are there supposed to be spacers on the setscrews between the catch plate and the base plate? There were no spacers on my car.
I know the component relationship will be hard to explain so if anyone has a photo showing the proper relationship of the assembled pieces that would be worth the proverbial 1,000 words.

Hello,
The 3 parts are in the right order,
But the middle part must be rotated 180 degrees.
The side hole in the middle part is for the spring.
there should be some spacers, so the the middel part can move.
The lever is for the release cable.
