Default MK2 & Daimler V8 suspension

Hello all, My Daimler rides horrible. I've changed the dampers & springs (front coil) But every bump is a jar, very rough ride. Are there bushings or mounts that have rotted out, or do these cars ride like an old cart?
I've had mine since 1984, and it's possible it's slowly deteriorated over the years, until now. Originally I had a XJ6 & the Daimler, and didn't notice such a difference, in ride, any suggestions would be welcome, Cheers David

Have you checked the sub-frame mounts ? These are designed to stop these kind of road shocks coming into the car. Also check the anti-roll bar mounts.

Are all the suspension ball joints good ?

Frankly for a car this old, a lot needs checking out unless you are certain it has been overhauled not too long ago.

Then there is the rear suspension, of course. How is this ?
