Hello all! I realize this thread is from way back in 2014, but I am currently looking for classic car hire for a wedding. If anyone has recent recommendations or tips based on their experiences, it would be great to keep this thread lively and helpful for future searches.

Forget the Beaufort at the far end that was supplied by someone else. Horrible car.

We had a Hummer for our wedding, and I honestly loved that car. We rented it from limo hire in London, and everything went perfectly. The Hummer added a unique touch of luxury and grandeur to our special day. The experience with limo hire in London was seamless. The company was professional and accommodating, ensuring that the car was impeccably clean and decorated to our liking. The chauffeur was punctual, courteous, and navigated the city with ease, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment without any logistical worries.

Surely you mean a Humber….unless your wedding was in the Middle East during hostilities? Hummers do not tend to add luxury and grandeur to anything.

In the photo of the four S Types the fifth car is a Beaufort. Many brides love it as it looks the part of a Roaring Forties car but to the initiated it is actually a kit car based on a 1980s Ford Cortina. The fit and finish is awful. The windows don't close fully, the roof does not fit correctly, flaps around in the wind and certainly is not waterproof. But everyone to their own.
My S Type taken at Rockbeare Manor, Exeter where they kindly painted the front of the house the same colour as my car. lol.
