To attach the rotissiory to the rear of your car, have you just used the 4 bumper bolts? They seem too small to hold the weight of the car.

Default Rear Rotisserie bracket at bumber mounting

Bendougy,


Here's the bracket I made. The shell even hung by two bolts each side for a while. Side portion of the bracket was added later for transportation to the blaster. I will have to slice the side portion for removal.
No flex was noted.

I built a rotisserie years ago for a VW beetle, it was way over engineered.
I wish I had kept it for my MK2.
I guess I'll have to build another.
