Seeking help with MkII body parts
Hello everyone,
My first post, and I admit to not being a Jaguar owner (I have instead an obscure German sports car with a rear-mounted air-cooled engine; you've probably never heard of it).
I did have a dear friend who owned several jaguars, most recently a beautiful 1964 E-Type. However, he died a few months ago after skidding to a stop at age 88, and I've been helping his widow dispose of a few things. In his garage I found what appears to me to be four MkII doors and a boot lid in remarkably good condition, rust-filmed but with no rusted-through sections I can see. Frames and glass and quite a bit of hardware. I'd like to get a fair price for them for her, and it seemed like a good idea to start here and ask for help. I can't put anything in the classifieds yet since I do not have the requisite number of posts, but if I get a discussion going here perhaps I can accumulate enough.
Am I correct about the model? I can take more detailed photos in a few days. Thanks very much for any input.

I suggest checking out the Jaguar MK2 section in ebay. Lots of parts like this for sale and would give you an idea of what people are asking for them. These do look pretty rough and the chrome as well. Nice of you to be helping out your friend. For a rough guide, think about what they would go for with your German car and drop two zeros.
