Default Shift lever bushing question

I'm replacing the old and worn shift lever bushings and since the new ones are really tight is there a specific lubrication needed between the bushing and the pivot pins? Couldn't find anything in the repair manual

They should not be tight. Clean properly & use a 3 to 5% Moly grease. You might have to do some mild reaming of the new bushes.
