Jagjonz I am an enthusiast and not an expert. I am away at the moment home tomorrow when I can have a look to see which diff I have. Unfortunately I do not know how to tell the difference so any advise would be welcome.

See the pics posted above by jjsandsms. Those are of a Salisbury 4HA (basically same as US-made Dana 44). A Salisbury 2HA (basically a Dana 41) has a virtually round case and rear cover plate, whereas you can see from the pics above, the 4HA has a somewhat irregular shape to the case and thus the cover plate. I believe a 3HA case looks the same as a 4HA from the outside, but I'm not certain on that? Perhaps someone else here could help with that?

Jagjonz. Thank you for you quick and informative reply. I will check tomorrow and get back to you. However reading a little more I found a discussion thread that stated the Ha2 was used on the Daimler conquest and the V8 used the Ha4. 😖😖😖. I’ll know tomorrow

Doherto, I don't know what I was thinking yesterday, but I actually do have a 3.77 CWP for both a 4HA and a 2HA, so I can help you out after all!
