Wire Wheels Question

Hi All,
New to the forums here.. tried searching but no luck.
I have a 1963 MK2 with steel wheels and am looking at purchasing a set of wire wheels off a 1965 XKE. The tire size is identical on both but I would like to confirm before shipping them cross-country.
Can anyone on here tell me if they will fit? I know I will need to get spinners and splines -- but I am hoping someone on here can help me.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum SteveJag,
The only information source I could find on this is in the SC Parts catalogue, a UK aftermarket company. Their wire wheels for E-Type and MKII share a common Part Number to 1967:

The hubs look to be more complicated:

The fronts are the same but the rears are different Part Numbers. It's many years since I was running Jaguars of that era but I do recall switching from wire to steel was not too simple.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST section and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see.
