Default Track days at Buttonwillow Raceway

Went for two track days with So Cal Audi Club to Buttonwillow Raceway outside of Bakersfield, CA. Although I don't have an Audi, and prohibited from driving my XKR because it's a convertible, I took my old de Tomaso Pantera out. Buttonwillow is a less severe track than Spring Mountain or Sonoma, so I was willing to run my other "cat" out there. I hadn't been to a track event for a couple of years, so the first session was spent "cleaning out the cobwebs" of my mind. After the first session, the rest were much more successful, a lot of fun, and quite enjoyable. As much as the Pantera hates to drive on the streets as it runs very hot and wants to buck like a bronco when it's warm, it will run on the track all day long at 180 degrees flawlessly and without missing a beat. Pictures are coming soon but I've attached one from a couple of years ago at Buttonwillow.
