Default 04 Jaguar x-type help!

Have a 04 Jaguar x-type base model 2.5l 5 speed, just put clutch in, pinches wire connector between battery and trans mount, based on my research it used in shipping for transit, since this has happened my car will not crank or start, when both wires to the connector are grounded out and the battery is connected the dash lights and everything is on even without the key in, when apart and not grounded on anything caf is fine but still doesn’t crank or start but dash is fine, please help me

Welcome to the Forums.

I suggest a re-ask in the X Type (X400) Tech Section. Not too many Tech Members come in here, as the Section Title states.

Good luck.
