Default 04 X-type in Pennsylvania

Hello All,
I have an 04 Jaguar X-type with 3.0L V6 gas w/ automatic transmission at just over 100k miles in central Pennsylvania, USA. I believe this car was made during the time that Jaguar was owned by Ford. I dont typically like Ford products but this has been a funny and faily reliable little car.

Welcome to the forums kemblea99,

Yes - Ford Motors purchased Jaguar in 1999 (and Land Rover in 2000) then it sold both to Tata Motors in 2008.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello,
I have heard some owners of Ford era Jags refer to them as Forduars; a term that totally Angers some owners, but others find entertaining. Whichever, those were among the Most Reliable cars on the road at the time, and judging by your experience, still are.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
