Default 1964 Daimler - Many Questions Will Be Asked ....

Basically, I go the car on a whim one weekend.
I was looking for a cheap car for a supervisor at work since hers broke down. There was an ad for a Jaguar Mark 5.
I went to see it with a girlfriend who didn't drive.
I bought it thinking we could work on it together as a restoration project
I wanted her to learn to drive.
(After buying it, she said she was severely dyslexic and would never drive.)
Well intended good deeds get punished!

Fast forward: it turned out my girl friend did indeed drive and had several DUIs under various aliases.
She also went crazy and joined a cult ( Her words, not mine).
Last time I spoke with her, she was happy and awaiting sentencing for something I know not of ...

I'm now getting the car running again.
It needs work and TLC.

I know nothing bout Jaguars!
Expect me to ask a lot of simplistic questions.
I'm here to learn.

Thank you and thank you for your knowledge, experience, and patience,

I bet she was a lot of fun though. The crazy ones always are. Welcome to the forum and best of luck in the car. Don't tell the backstory to any future ex girlfriends.

Ahem. You're a far better judge of cars than you are of women.
Having said that, everyone deserves one Enormous "learning experience" with the opposite sex, just hope this was yours.

Graham has already directed you to the section where you can find help and advice for your Jaguar problems.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
