Default 1976 Jaguar XJ-C Convertible Hi From Santa Cruz, CA

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum. My name is Jason Booth and I am in Santa Cruz, CA. I recently bought a collection of cars out of an estate and this 1976 XJ-C Convertible was one of them. It has sat in storage for decades and I am in the process of getting it road worthy. I came here hoping to get some expertise on getting a few things handled like having keys made and possibly figuring out which company did the convertible conversion. I do plan to sell the car but I have a local buyer I told I would give first shot to. If he does not come through, I will put it up for sale publically. I have attached a few pictures of the car.

Thanks,

Jason

Welcome to the Forums.

Looks later than 1976 to me, looks Series 3, late 1978 (market dependent), onward.

BUT
It has push button outer handles, which is Series 2, maybe it a USA thing??

Good luck.
