1983 Jaguar XJS
Hi,
I guess I am new here but not to british cars. I bought a 1983 Jag XJS late last year, non running but in very good shape. I brought it home and had it running in few weeks.
Home is Bossier City LA. I am retired post office and have lots of time to play now. I started working on foreign cars back in the middle 70's. I owned a few MG's and worked for both a British shop and later a German car shop.
I hope to keep the 83 XJS and get it as good as I can as far as reliability goes. Thats asking a lot for an older British car! I have several issues that just popped up and will hope to be able to get help from this broad group of enthusiasts.
Thanks
Russ

Welcome to the forum Russ,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link US Southern Midwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
