Great car well taken care of, just picked it up from Little River S.C.

Good for you on the PS hose....those are a stinker....and welcome aboard.
'88 was a particularly good year, IMHO. First year for a number of small upgrades but without the added complexity of air bags and anti-lock brakes.
If you're *really* lucky you have a very early '88 without the motorized seat belts :-)
Anyhow, XJSs are fantastic cars. A bit challenging to own at times but well worth the effort.
