Hi BigWillie7204:

I need to welcome you on two levels: Greetings from the Midwestern region of the forum, and also on behalf of the XJ40 section. As problems or issues arise, post them there and you'll be sure to receive some sage wisdom and advice. The XJ40 is a really good car - kind of an unsung hero for Jaguar in my opinion. Enjoy the drive!
Cheers,
Scott

Hey BigWillie, welcome to the forum. I'm not familiar with the distinguishing features of the big sedans, but every one of them looks beautiful! Your project will no doubt provide its own rewards in the end. Jump in with both feet, and start posting your questions.

Steve

Welcome, BigWillie7204!

We've owned our '93 VDP for around 15 years and it now has 195K miles. It's been a wonderful vehicle and I've given it a lot of love. I'll see you in the XJ40 forum where you'll find plenty of knowledgeable owners who will be happy to help you with any questions.

Cheers,

Don
