Default 1995 Jaguar XJ6 Milwaukee,WI

Hello I joined this forum to be part of the Jaguar community! I have a 1995 Jaguar XJ6 with 223,800 miles. That seems to be a lot but she runs perfectly! Just a question, how long can these cars run? I'm 15 and this is my first car! I love her to death and love to drive it everyday! I posted some pics of my car below.

With a bit of care there's just no tellin' how long those X300s will run. Durable cars, taht's for sure.

Welcome Dexter, greetings from Wisconsin and the Midwest Region of the forum. Doug hit the nail on the head. The X300s can seemingly go forever so long as you keep up on the maintenance an almost 20 year old luxury car will need. The good news is that a lot of work can be done with your very own hands, aided by finding parts online and help from guys on the forum who love their cars as much as you do.

Enjoy the drive!

Thanks for all the welcomes! This car seems really fast for an older, big car. When I put the car into sport mode, the car is super quick. Maybe a sub 7 sec 0-60 mph? Does this seem right?

Ummmm....that might be a bit optimistic.

Road tests of the day had the XJR/6....with *80* more horspower....doing the 0-60 sprint in about 6.6 seconds.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Dexter,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. Your XJ6 looks in good condition both inside and out. It's usually rust that finally kills them so if it's as solid as it looks, you could keep it for many years to come.

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 section for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Mid West Region section by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.
