Finally got the beauty running and ran good for a while. No she won’t start back up. Fuel isn’t getting to rail. Old fuel was gross but I siphoned and put has gas in. Pump kicks in when cars on so could I just have a blockage in the filter not allowing gas through? It will start with starting fluid but obviously won’t stay running without gas

Hello, Gaven,
I hope you get that fuel problem sorted out soon so you can Drive your car instead of looking at it just sitting there.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome. If the fuel pump has current and "kicks in," then a clogged fuel filter appears to be the next logical culprit in the non-delivery of fuel to the rail. Good luck in sorting it out!

Welcome to the forum Gaven,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum with this issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Midwest Region forum by following this link

Enjoy the forums.

I’m just a goofy person apparently. Hose to fuel pump wasn’t tightened down and popped off. Problem solved. She’s back driving just fine.

Glad to hear it was an easy fix; that said, I would still recommend changing the fuel filter at some point in the not too distant future... Cheap insurance for not getting stuck with an engine that won't start or run.
