1998 XK8 Convertible Red
Hi, I have a jag with a beautiful cherry red exterior, tan roof but there is a motor issue. It overheats. We live in Fredericksburg, VA and moving to Denver. I can't take it with me. Any ideas who would appreciate a vehicle like this to work on and give it the TLC it needs?

Welcome to the forum Chris,
I'm sorry to hear about the overheating issue with your XK8.
If it overheats but hasn't been cooked to the point of warping the cylinder heads then a failed water pump or sticking thermostat is the likely cause and easily fixed. If the engine is wrecked (overheating very rarely only blows a head gasket on the Jaguar V8) then the value of the vehicle has plummeted and finding a buyer will be difficult.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
