Hello from Oxford , England. Can I just dive in and ask a few ?'s then you can tell me what I am doing right or wrong. First My Jag has only 55,000 on it and I want to get it set up for a month long trip thru Euro land. My defroster does not work, the heat only get warm once I get her on the freeway and then blows cold when I slow down. Now the control unit does not show any reading on the display. the light to each control work but that is it.I am bloody cold in the morning at the moment..
Does anyone know a good mechanic in my area ? I also want to change a light bulb in the left headlight. I do know the right end of a screwdriver , etc but I can not figure out if the clips are pushed in or out. I will try and send pics in a moment too.
SO !! FORGET ALL THAT AS THE DISPLAY IS WORKING AND I GOT THE BULB OUT. I still need a mechanic though and help with the defroster....Thanks for reading my post ....
P.S. I am not in a hurry but I will be selling the car this year. I do it only because I want to get one with cruise control and tv's in the headrest. IT's hard to sell mine as it is in almost perfect condition inside and out. The price I will be looking for is £7000 If I put the euro mile on her then the price will be lower .It has new rims and the old ones are unmarked in any way...Please let me know where I should post a for sale ad and then I can show you the car. I have OCD when it comes to cleaning my car and the guy I bought it from was thankfully the same as me....( More so )
Cheers from Kev aka ( Dutch)
