Default 1st time Jag owner, F-type 2014 V8S

Hi everybody,

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I am the proud owner of a new (to me) 2014 V8S F-Type Convertible. I picked her up certified with only 2K miles. I'm in Calabasas, near Los Angeles. Loving the car and I'm especially enjoying the runs through the canyons with the top down and Sport + Dynamic engaged. Wow what a sound, and the car drives really beautifully. You see a Porsche 911 every ten feet in LA, but none of them seem as special as the F-Type. Happy to be here and thanks in advance for your responses and advice on the boards. Here's a pic of my new car:

looked through a couple newbie to the forum posts to see how many i'd have to go through to see one that tops the 2012 xf i just got and here you are! f types are absolutely amazing in every way.....good luck with it. Yes wayyy more unique and exclusive, and classy and sexy than a 911. The v8 ftype is the best sounding car in its class.

Thanks Showstopper. By the way I love he XF too. Far more interesting and special than a 5 Series or an E Class. My last car was an E Class coupe. I worked with a guy who had an XF and I was constantly telling him how much better I thought his car looked than mine. Enjoy it!

I am sure we will both love our cars, hopefully the maintenance and repairs aren't too bad for us. Yes I think a 2012 E-class sitting right next to my 2012 XF is nothing in comparison as far as looks go. The tail lights of an XF remind me of an Aston Martin..the tail lights of an E class remind me of ...nothing. Hahahah But I was looking into an E-class coupe that was white and all blacked out with the wheels and everything, and I strongly considered it How did you like your e-class coupe? Was it relatively reliable? Did you get plenty of dates/chicks because of it? (or are you married)
